Jim Scott
From Hermitage, PA, Jim Scott has been woven into the local and regional music scene since he first took the stage at age 14. He first discovered his love for the guitar growing up when he first heard Jimi Hendrix’ version of “wild thing” on the radio. That sparked a lifelong obsession with the instrument. Going on to touring with regional and National bluegrass acts from 2010-2014, Jim decided to shift his musical focus to what drew him in the first place… Blues & Rock. Being a songwriter himself, he continued to write and began playing solo shows, performing original material up until the present day. Along with his blues trio, Jim is proud to serve as a member of the “Memphis Honey Blues Band” and express his soulful desire in this genre.
